Ms. Essaylimpics 2008

I just want to share one of my unforgettable events in my High School years as this was one of the rare moments I found myself getting off of my comfort zone.

This was way back 2008 during "Ms. Essaylimpics 2008" (a three consecutive week competition of ten different Filipino Schools in Riyadh with Q&A and Talent portion). I was chosen to represent my Alma Mater (Elite International School) in the Philippine Embassy Riyadh last November 2008.

Performing is my passion in high school, my stress reliever.  I love to dance, sing and even act...and it's just so disappointing that I wasn't able to develop it in my college years. #regrets

Speaking of performing, the only portion of the contest I enjoyed was the Talent Portion. haha!

Together with my partner (Dennis Castro), we practiced almost everyday three weeks before the actual contest. Luckily we were excused in class. :))).. This was choreographed by no other than Mr. Roger Patricio.

Rehearsal Days (October 2008):

PS: Sorry for my Papa's voice in the background.. hehe Proud Dad lang!

>>> I did not win.. but the experience and the friendship that was made was something I will treasure forever :)
